ASMB Council Call for Nominations

President-elect, Council and Secretary-Treasurer

The American Society for Matrix Biology is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the upcoming election to the ASMB Council. We are seeking candidates for the President-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer position as well as TWO Council Member seats.

The President-Elect serves as Chair of the ASMB Biennial Meeting, leading its planning and execution, and transitions to the role of President two years later. Candidates must have previously served on the ASMB Council and be prepared to provide strategic leadership and guidance for the Society during their tenure.

Secretary-Treasurer
Our current Secretary-Treasurer has kindly agreed to run for another term. Additional nominations from qualified candidates are welcome. Eligible candidates must have previously served on ASMB Council. This role provides a key opportunity to support the Society’s financial and administrative leadership.

Council Members
We are also inviting nominations for new Council Members. To be eligible, candidates must have been active ASMB members for at least two years. Council service is an important way to help guide the Society’s initiatives and support the matrix biology community.

Submitting Nominations
Please submit nominations including the nominee’s name, institutional affiliation, and a brief vision statement for ASMB  by November 20, 2025.  Self nominations are welcome!  Send materials to the ASMB office.
